Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.
Omar Khayyam

I don't know where I first heard this quote but I always repeat it to myself to remind me that it is the little things, the everyday things that make my life. The smell of fresh laundry warm out of the dryer, the way Nick's face turns red when he laughs and how my hair right now just never, ever looks like it did this morning.

Each and every moment. It's my life... and that is pretty neat.

I've had my blog on Xanga since April 2005 and thought it was time to change it up a bit.

So welcome to my cozy new home.

Refreshing site.
I ask people, "what is the most important moment in your life?"
I get various answers like, when I was born, or when I got married, or when I turned 21, etc.

I tell them the most important moment in my life is "right now". I try to live "in the moment". That way, the past and future will take care of their selves.

I'm 68 and waning.... life is PRECIOUS and each moment is precious.
