I know I mentioned it before but I am just enamored by the Peonies blooming in our front yard. I've always seen the flowers in weddings and such but not growing beautifully right outside my window.
The first bud opened this weekend and there are probably forty or more waiting to bloom. I just couldn't resist snipping this flower off (she was already drooping over) and she is now happily residing in a vase in my bathroom (and is about twice the size of this photo now).

They are ah-mazing! I love peonies! They were the only flower in my wedding bouquet...I think they are stunning. Can I just tell you how jealous I am that you have your very own bush!? :)
