The theatre is a spiritual and social X-ray of its time.
Stella Adler

Thanks to our boss, Melissa and I enjoyed a rainy afternoon at the Fox Theatre to see Young Frankenstein. I'm not a Mel Brooks fan, really, but the show was just darling. So clever and with great dancing numbers. I loved it!

Before the show, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Fountain on Locust. I've always heard of this place and this was the perfect chance to try it out.

Beautiful Art Deco design with an old-fashioned ice cream fountain.

I loved the girls on the walls with their lights.

I just wanted a taste so I ordered the "World's Smallest Hot Fudge Sundae." Yummy and so cute.

Outside the fabulous Fox Theatre.

At aur seats in the Fox Club - great show!

Those little sundaes are the best. The meal portions are plenty big, so just a little sweet taste does the trick.

I saw a commercial for that and thought about getting tickets for my husband since he loves the movie. Maybe I will now!
