Eric Carle is a favorite of mine and I received this book in a gift bag at an event he was speaking at. It is a lovely hard copy personally signed by him. It would be a great addition to any young reader's collection. Books are one of my favorite things so I'm happy to pass this along to my winner!

I love all the Eric Carle books. My children's literature teacher introduced me to his work in college almost 20 years ago! But my all time favorite would have to be Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel by Virginia Burton (I think?)
We love Eric Carle and have even visited his Picturebook Museum. This is one of the few books of his that we do not own in our collection. I have always enjoyed the Very Hungry Caterpillar the very best. It is a real classic. I would love to be entered in your drawing.

Wow, what a great giveaway! Eric Carle has long been one of my favorite authors. I also like Denise Fleming's books...the one in particular that I love is called Lunch. It's about a mouse who goes out and about the house looking for his lunch. Like Carle, her illustrations are wonderfully colorful and creative! Thanks for this giveaway!

Favorite kids books these days have been the Numeroff books - "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and "If You Give a Moose a Muffin" - sequential stories are a big hit with our crew. This week we have plans to do a homeschool unit on Stone Soup - a favorite from when I was younger.

I would SO love to win this for a friend... they had quadruplets but lost one after two weeks. In her honor they developed an incredible ministry for other parents of NICU babies. It is called Project Seahorse because their baby had a Beanie Baby seahorse. They are amazing; this would be a wonderful treat for them.

As a librarian and a mother, I love Eric Carle! I have a 2-year-old, and our favorite right now is Goodnight Moon.
My father was a librarian, and I volunteer in my kid's school library (I am a "retired" mom of three, former Kindergarten teacher) and I don't have this Eric Carle. My favorite book? Charlotte's Web-Where's Papa going with that ax?
So fun! We had a long break thinking we would be done having kids, what with a vasectomy and all, but now we have two little ones and have to rebuild our library of little kid books!

Oh, we love Eric Carle here! It's hard to choose a favorite book (The Very Hungry Caterpillar?) but we have many favorite authors - Tomie dePaola, Cynthia Rylant, Jon Muth, Jon Sciezka...
Oh my goodness, my mom, the librarian/kindergarten teacher/artist who collects every children's book she can find, especially those by illustrators that she loves like Eric Carle would LOVE this!!!! I'm sure she'd read it to my son (her only grandchild so far) as often as she could.
My favorite children's book (probably best for early to mid-elementary) is "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs." It's got an awesome sequel too. And always makes me want pancakes.
