I'm so excited because after a half day of work tomorrow morning, Nick and I are headed to Iowa for a long weekend. We'll be staying with his parents, going to a close friend's wedding on Saturday and just enjoying our time. His parents live on acreage in a tiny town, not a farm, but just lots of land. I think I like it so much because it reminds me a bit of home in Florida.

I'm looking forward to meeting their new dog, Milo, and all of the cattle his mom is raising now. With both of us having Monday off from work it will be a lovely little getaway!
