I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself,
than be crowded on a velvet cushion.

Henry David Thoreau

On Sunday, I joined fellow St. Louis bloggers Angie at Damask is Divine and Heidi at Fabulous in the STL (plus her husband Mr. Fab and her son Trey) at "the best" pumpkin patch in the area, Rombach's in Chesterfield. There were lots of beautiful fall things, jars of apple butter, wagons full of gourds and of course, a whole lot of pumpkins!

Huge mums (that were $18 a piece, ack!)

So many to choose from!

Baby Trey threw the little ones and shoved around the big ones

Hooray for pumpkins!

...and lady bugs.

It was easier to carry the baby than the pumpkin!

You got some good pix. I kinda think that the $18 mums were highway robbery. Still was a great time tho!

YEAH for the pumpkin patch! So much fun!

...and I agree the $18 mums were high. I'll be buying mine at the fruit/veggie stand down the street!
