I tell ya only the good die young.
Only the good die young...
Billy Joel

I found out last night that a friend of mine from college died unexpectedly yesterday morning. I hadn't been in touch with him recently but I have such fun, laugh-filled memories of my time with Kyle. Although we grew up in Sarasota together and was in grade school with his brother, I wasn't friends with him until college. My fondest memories were exploring Washington DC together during a Student Government conference trip.

It's weird because I cannot shake this sadness thinking of him over and over all day. Twenty-eight years old, young and full of life. Great golfer, big smile. Now gone.

Please pray for peace for his family.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. Not that it's ever easy to lose anyone, but I feel like its worse when it comes as a surprise - no opportunity for "one last" anythings. :-( You and his will be in my thoughts!

So sad. A college friend {mom to 2 young boys} died from brain cancer last week after a 2 year battle. I am just so sad. Can't stop thinking about it.

my favorite Kyle memory:

Living across the hall from him and having a mashed potato fight. Mashed potatoes all over the doors and stairwells.

Very sad he died so young.
