At about 12:30 p.m. yesterday one of the partners in my company asked, "do you and your husband like baseball?"
I responded, "Of course!"
"Well, here are two tickets to the Cardinals home opener today, you can leave at 1:30 p.m. to get there in time. Have fun!"
I called my husband who was so excited he came just short of squeeling!
We headed down to the game in the cold and cloudy weather and took our seats in the warm and toasty suite!

It was such a great time - until they lost. But still a wonderful way to spend a Monday afternoon and be able to enjoy the first Cardinals game of the season as new St. Louis residents!

Fun! My fiance and his dad are going to the Detroit Tigers' opener on Friday. Maybe next year I'll be able to go too. I think I'd prefer it if they was a suite involved!
