Well pleaseth me the sweet time of Easter
That maketh the leaf and the flower come out.
Bertran de Born
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter! Nick had to work all day but I was able to join my Aunt Toni and Uncle Wally at his son's home in the country west of St. Louis. We had a nice brunch, easter egg hunt and then tromped out to the barn to see the horses and watch some of the kids ride. The family has two horses, four dogs, a parrot that barks like the dogs, eight cats and two goslings! It was a farm full for sure but fun!
It was cloudy and cold but still a nice time. Nick got home from work about 7 p.m. and we enjoyed spaghetti on the couch with Bella under the quilt. Cozy and warm!

If you know my aunt and uncle you know no day is complete with out a game, or five, of Scrabble!
Naps all around - including the Beagles.

Sorry your hubby had to work yesterday, glad you were able to spend time with family though! Happy Late Easter!!
Yes that's too bad the hubs had to work. That happens to us all the time. But that farm looks awesome! And I love me a game of Scrabble.
Happy Easter!
Looks like fun...especially the napping part!
It looks like fun, except the Easter Bunny was in Sarasota!
Sounds like a nice day!
Let me know if I need to email you to be a part of the StL get-together!
What a beautiful day! I am only now catching up on my blog reading. I'd love to participate in a meet up with my fellow St. Louis bloggers. You can email me at lucyinstlou@gmail.com if you like. Happy Tuesday!
