I consider my self a pretty crafty person.
Crafty as in scrapbooking... not witch-like crafty [insert cackle here].
I spent two hours in Joann Fabrics yesterday afternoon (I know they changed their name to just "Joann" but it will always be Joann Fabrics to me) checking out the sales, cardstock, albums, beads, fabrics, ribbon and frames... I was like a kid in a fleece and puffy paint filled candy store.
Now that I have no fiance in town to distract me with baseball, DVR'd movies and grilling on the porch I have much more time to get caught up on my scrapbooking. I was behind on some bigger sections but after this weekend I have just two trips - when Nick and I went to San Diego and my sorority convention in Los Angeles - to finish and I am all up to date.
So by scouting the sales and with my 40% off coupons in hand I did some highly productive damage at Joann Fabrics yesterday - page refills, new album, adhesive refill, book of cardstock, a few miscellaneous paper patterns and (my new favorite thing) a big sunburst punch.
Can't wait to get home this evening, turn on some bad entertainment shows, tear the cute cardstock out of Bella's mouth and get scrapbookin'!

I wish I had the patience to scrapbook! My mother just went to a big convention this weekend and is all fired up to catalog every moment of our lives. You need to scan in a page so we can ooh-and-aah!
Congrats on getting caught up! I'm still on like my Senior year in High school.... and I graduated 7 years ago! haha
i know, girl, isn't joann's having the BEST sale?! i got sewing patterns for $1.50 EACH! that's likee $14 off! what a steal!
That's great!! Joann Fabrics craft products are always amazed me... I like it.
